The illusion of the Miracle

What represents this curious form ? A miracle ?

To discover what is hidden, attentively fix the 4 black spots of the center during 30 seconds, Then look at a blank white wall, or a piece of paper, or on the white space near image. What do you see?

On the white zone which appears, you should see a famous character of the History (to accentuate the effect you can close or blink eyes).

This illusion, is due to retinal persistence. Indeed, if you reverse the colors of this image, you will very clearly see this character.

For the rotational optical illusions, there are two ways to see the illusion. The first way is to move your head in and out from the screen. Focus on the center as you do this. 

This first blue illusion will also work with your peripheral vision, as your eyes naturally move around the page and the illusion, it will appear to move.
